That doesn't look normal to me at all. Looks like someone tried to jack the car up by the crankcase or something.

Nope, not normal. As long as it didn't effect the oil pump pickup tube it shouldn't be a major problem. If it were me I'd pick up a used one and replace it but I'm just **** like that.

New ones are 163$ at MyLparts; here's a link so you can get the part number and shop around, you need part 35 from the diagram at a minimum.

Probably tons in junk yards too. Did that RX run over something? Looks like the muffler is bent too a little. I wouldn't run it like that. Even if it runs fine, the oil in the pan won't sit level. This can create conditions where oil starvation can occur, like taking a sharp right turn; for example.

Looks to me like that RX ran over something, jumped a median, who knows. There are scratches on the frame rail and the pan. Pan and muffler are bent. Are you missing your belly pan plastics? That should all be covered by plastic belly pans that are bolted to the frame. If you didn't do it, maybe prior owner, or someone along the line joyrode it. Definitely damaged.

I agree with danthedj, someone jacked the car up, no heavy scratches from the impact.
Also agree with mdbrown & BlackLexRX, would pick up a used one up from the Wreckers or Ebay ASAP, to save some $$ since it appears to be only a cosmetic issue.

Actually here is one on Ebay, an aftermarket variety...
decent price for new, quality may be questionable, perhaps their website may have some reviews.

You could get them cheap from a junk yard, or order new. I use MyLparts.com. Here's a link to what you need so you can see it and what it would cost new:
