Default 2008 Scion xB and xD

So, I'm actually interested in seeing how these two will look like.

Debut is in a couple of days in Chicago.

I can honestly say that although I may not be in the market for one, I would like to see how inventive Scion designers are. We all know that, in an engineering aspect, it shared the same chassis as the Echo. Now, there is a possibility that it may perhaps share the same chassis as the Corolla with the 2ZR-FE engine, with optional supercharger (like the 164 hp Corolla XRS). Whatever it is, it seems like Scion is on a roll with econo-boxes for the practical+quirky consumer.

Will it be the same as the Japanese xB? Will the xD be the Auris?

Hopefully, we get to put Official pics up in a couple of days, or maybe earlier if something gets leaked on the net...

Here is the release info:
"Scion will stage the world premiere of the second-generation xB and the all-new xD at the 2007 Chicago Auto Show.

The Scion press conference will take place on Thursday, February 8 at 9:00 A.M. CT in the Grand Ballroom in McCormick Place, with a live simulcast to the Scion display area at the show.

A video clip of the Chicago press conference will be available for viewing the following day on the Scion.com website."

Reminds me either of the Renault Clio or Megane from the back.

Those pictures are NOT the new xA or the new xD.

That is a concept Toyota vehicle. Let's wait until official pics.

aE?

I would really like a semi-economical RWD or AWD coupe offering from Toyota/Scion.

That thing up top reminds me of a frog.

The hood of the car reminds me of the underside of a crab. Ugly.

It looks like this green turd I dropped when I was 8 years old...yes it was that memorable.
This car isn't.

Only Kermit the Frog could love this.

I had that same exact thought. They could take the time to make it light as well.

p.s. just so u note though, those are toyota concepts released ages ago, NOT the xB or xD

Default Toyota Concept does NOT equal Scion...

It's actually a Toyota Concept.

It was called the Toyota Urban Cruiser, which is a funkier version of the FJ Cruiser...
