Replacing Inner Quarter Panels With Pics
My inner quarter panels have been pretty beat up over the years of hauling cargo.
Picked up a pair at the junk yard.
Not the fastest job to to do.
Removal was 15 minutes at the junk yard but I did damage the headliner, so I wanted to be careful when pulling my old one out of my car.
I did not remove the lower panel (the carpeted panel that covers the strut tower) at the junk yard. This should be removed for easier installation. To remove the lower panel you must remove the black storage trays and covers.
All together I had to remove the black storage trays, Inner walls that cover the rear struts, rear seat belt bolts, plastic covers near the rear seat belt bolts, back door stripping and finally the rear corner panels. This took me about 2 hours to remove, but hopefully it will be faster for you knowing now what you have to remove to get the job done.
Also to note I was going to reupholster my old ones, but I could not find anyone who was willing to do it because of the shape. The suede like material seems to be some type of super thin layer or upholstery. They may have even sprayed it on if thats possible?
The pictures were taken on reassembly and may not be in specific order.
Pics can also be used for reference of tow connection wires and sun roof drains
Tray removal pics updating soon upon reinstall today.

Nice photos. Should come out pretty nice when you're done. What did you give for the panels?

Whether these parts can be classified as fabric/upholstery is one thing, the other is could the color be closely matched?
I have no ambitions to pull apart the RX330 up here in the great white north...
The photo explains the reason why.....
