Wiper Cowl Pan Removal (Help)
Hi everyone, first post! My mom's 2007 RX350's ignition coils are bad and a shop quoted her $1,250 to replace all 6. I'm doing it for her and I can't get off the upper intake. I know that this has been discussed many times here but I can't find a definite answer to my question. I am going to have to remove the wiper cowl pan to get access to the rear passenger bolt on the intake. I've already got the wiper motor our and a bunch of 10mm bolts securing the pan to the body. It seems like the strut bolts are preventing the pan from coming out. I tried removing them but they are too tight. Can I even remove the strut bolts with the car on the ground? Will it mess up the car's suspension? Should I just keep trying to loosen them? I'm really stuck here and any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you and happy new year!

I took the strut bolts off to put a front strut tower bar on, all 4 wheels on the ground, no issues. You need a breaker bar. a pipe works too, meaning you slip the pipe over the end of your wrench so you have more leverage. Take your wrench to home depot or Ace, so you get the correct diameter pipe. 18 inches longer should do it.
If you don't have an impact wrench, and you don't wanna get a pipe or breaker bar, you can hit the end of your wrench with a hammer, just don't miss.

The RX330 wiper cowl comes off very easy. Do not know about the 350, that you need to get the strut bolts out.
