anyone have any issues with a loud rattle in the dash ?
sounds as if something up near the front corner of the dash (near the windshield) is rattling or hitting the glass ??
not sure - but it keeps getting louder, and I was quoted $800 to tear the dash out and find it....

any ideas or suggestions ?

I have something similar. It sounds like metal against metal or metal twisting within the dash. I get it when it go over bumps or potholes. Annoying sound. but does not seem to get louder. what i can think of is a loose nut tumbling about. Unfortunately no way to reach it without tearing the dash which i am not going to pay that much for

 

It may be one of your strut mounts, The sound travels to the dash area. I just had this noise and replaced right front strut mount and sound is gone.
