I've never really been to this side of the forum. I drive an '01 gs430. 39k miles. i sold my 99 gs300 after i bought the 430.
I've had lexus' for over 4 years now and cant see why i would buy anything else. take care of them and they last forever.

Drove over an hour yesterday to bring her home. very nice ride for 138k. A lot smoother than our 2013 journey.
Everything seems to work fine. now to go through it and check everything for fluid levels and such.

Congrats. I just picked up a white 2007 on Jan 2nd. Took it in to have differentials serviced and the transmission I just did a drain/fill. There is some condensation in the headlights so I will seal them up as soon as it gets warm enough.

I may be wrong but aren't the condensation issues covered by a Lexus recall ?

condition and 2 owner is why we bought it. we searched for a while and the dashes and seats were problems for the interiors. this is great shape for the age. bought it from a tiny dealership in detroit. he had it 4 days then listed it on ebay. he got it from our local lexus dealer. he bought 3 cars that time.
He installed a new oem battery and gave me a 6 month warranty. ( they wont touch it) but nice thought from them. he lost a key though.

emailed last owner and she owns a telecom company. she loved it and traded it for a new one. always to dealer for service. even marker bulbs!

from looking and pricing them. I think i got a great deal for the car. we are keeping it for a long time.

great body on it. no dings just a few smudges from other doors and such. i am polishing those out when i find them.
stone chips on hood but not bad. will touch up easily.
I want to replace the white side mouldings due to paint nicks with the black plastic showing through. hard to cover with touch up paint.
