Hi ,
I would like to buy a second had RX300 in sweden where the climate is cold
The options i have is model 2002 with a 14000km milage or 2005 model with 18500km milage+ 2000$ price deference.
What do advise ?
Is there is any problems with the automatic transmition of these types ?

Honesty its up to you, trade higher mileage for a newer car. in USA the 02 were known for a sludge engines and dirty IACV sensor.

Not sure if they still the same generation (same body/motor) but the in USA, the 2002 is the first gen with a 3.0L motor verus the 2005 is a second gen 3.3L motor.

which one has more options? (navi/tow package/HID lighting etc.), make sure they are AWD the only way you can tell is look underneath for the rear differential, if its the FWD model there is no rear differential. I used to own a 2001 RX300 and i loved it, plain and outdated sure, but drives and run much better any non luxury 2015.
