Hey guys, new to the forum & also new to Lexus's i recently bought a 2001 rx300 for super cheap but the motor was shot. Long story short i bought a motor for my rx300 that WAS ADVERTISED as FWD... needless to say the motor i purchased isn't FWD, it's AWD.... dunnn dunnn dunnn lol so my question to the rx300 gods out there would be can this work cause unfortunately the mechanic already put the motor in only to inform me that it is AWD... returns are a possibility for sure but before i take a loss money wise and pay this mechanic to remove this AWD motor and re-install a FWD i'd like to know short & sweet can i get this motor to work and apply torque correctly or at least in a degree that is driveable i.e. maybe a kit or just removing the halfshaft ?? thank you ahead of time to anyone that can give me some insight on this, stay blessed!

to do it when I installed a fwd engine. You really have to eyeball it, and really know what you're looking at when you purchase it.
