Spark plug replacement-when?
http://drivers.lexus.com/t3Portal/do...upp/2004r0.pdf
This says 120,000 miles or 96 months. I don't see anything in my owner's manual about when to do the replacement. My 2004 RX has 80,000 and is on its original plugs. It's running fine but by the months above it's past due for new plugs.
The vehicle is driven 500 miles a month, never taken on trips. I will never put 120,000 on it so if I'm going to do the plugs I may as well do it sooner than later.
Thanks.

The manual says 90K I think. Do not worry much, the Iridiums Lexus installed are very stable. I have replaced the plugs on a 100K Lexus ES330 and they still looked good.

You should be fine at 120k miles, the plugs are incredible. Iridium is the mechanics dream. Some on the older RX300 still have original plugs at 190k miles....

This is what mine look like on an 04 Rx330 after 133k miles. They were the originals. The one on the left is obviously the brand new one not yet installed. The other 3 look ok after 11 years and 133k miles.
