Default Old member - Need help with a link to OEM Front Rotors at a good price :)

Hey guys,

I'm an old member that hasn't posted in a while. You guys were the first I thought of when I needed to help my mother out. She needs a complete front axle brake job -- (Yes, she's down to no pads, rotors are out of spec (can't be turned),.. so need new rotors plus pads).

I don't trust random links off google and I thought you guys could steer me the right way to a reasonably priced standard OEM (what is on the car now essentially) set of Front Rotors for her 2006 RX 330.

I'm hoping between 100-200$ for the pair at worst.

Your reply(s) are much appreciated and anticipated as I need to get this work done for her soon for overall safety.

Thank you,

I brought all my Lexus aftermarket parts from autohausaz and bmaparts.

As brand: Melye with Z coating or OPparts plus Meyle Semi Metallic pads, all these combination I used on Audi and BMW have good results.

Semi Metallic vs Ceramic, I like Semi a little more than Ceramic as its initial bite/grip feeling. I can live with a little more dust with it too.

THanks.

Do you or anyone know where I can get direct OEM (What is on the car now)? Perhaps a link. I googled the autohausaz but didn't see the exact oem rotor that is on the car.

Thanks!

CL vendor mylparts has a 10% discount code. (see link below). They also won't ship some heavy items, so it would be best to contact them about rotors before placing the order.

Thanks for the link(s).

Is that latter link/company the best price for OEM Front Rotors for the 2006 Rx 330? Around $169 give or take + coupon = $150 + shipping ?

That's ok, just making sure it is. I'm ok putting "Better" rotors on for cheaper, as long as they don't have propensity to warp easier or other such.. Main goals here are

1) No warping (or only warp as easy as factory rotors do)

2) Reliability (quality )

3) Rotors just unscrew and screw back on in a few minutes like the OEM ones do.

I'm going to order today, so just double checking. Thanks so much for any and all help.

mylparts is a Lexus dealership in California. Best to send them a private message and see what the price and shipping is.

So selecting the rotors on their website,.. seeing they have an $18 surcharge on top for rotors.. going through checkout and getting the total doesn't necessarily mean they are set up online for them? Just curious. I was going to place the order tonight to get the ball going as I need to get this done by Friday or so this coming week.

It seemed good on the website order process,.. but if I need to manually contact them I will.

As an alternative, are there any vendors that do have them for certain and ready to ship OEM rotors in the US?

These rotors were roughly $77 a piece on the website from mylparts plus shipping plus surcharge.

Thanks!

The Toyota/Lexus front rotor/pads are quite good. Mine are still in good shape after 50K Miles (85K Km).

Also a front set is going for $185 on ebay.

I just bought brembo blanks off Ebay and some Akebono pads and the car brakes wonderfully. For some things, ebay isn't bad. On a side note, I remember when you first bought your LS400, it had like 200k miles, but was in incredible shape. I;ll assume you don't have it anymore haha.

I know I'm new on here, but have used these guy's product without any signs of failure/warping. I used their slotted premium rotors on 2 vehicles, one of them had the rotors for about 5 yrs, before the car itself was totalled recently.... never warped, and that used to be my "street legal track car", which was driven hard all the time, with Carbon Metallic pads, which have a denser material on the pad, and also require proper warm up before you actually have serious biting force from the brakes (meaning you have to get them really hot before noticing any fade also).
Below is a link for their non-slotted premium rotor, with a no warp guarantee.

My other suggestion would've been cryo treated rotors....
