Unhappy Failed transmission

I have a 07 RX 350 with only 65k miles, I'm 71 years old, have taken no trips,do not tow and only drive locally. I bought this car thinking it would be my last and now I need a new transmission, isn't that nice? I should have known when I purchased and was shown around the dealership and service area and saw too many RX's on the rack that maybe I should have gone with another brand. This is the second major problem I've had so now I will be looking at a 5k repair bill.

I would work with lexus corporate for a goodwill repair. The mileage is way too low and if you had all service done at Lexus, many have reaped the rewards of assistance from corporate. sorry about your failure, don't understand as You are the first RX350 second generation vehicle I have heard of a transmission failure. good luck

Moved it to the right location.

RX is the best selling Lexus model so having too many being serviced should not alarm you.

Check your warranty and talk to the service advisor/manager to make a case for you with Lexus of USA. If you have been a loyal customer [purchases and service] they may go an extra mile for you. Do keep in mind that it will be a 'good will' gesture. You may get all for free or parts for free.

Wish you best of luck.

Sorry to hear that....like other members said, you should contact Lexus Corporate and see what they can do to help you to resolve your issue
