08 low mileage or 10 rx350?
Currently looking to replace 07 odyssey with rx350 - just want something smaller and nicer.
Have driven 2010 and 07/08 versions. Prefer interior of 2nd gen, exterior 3rd.
My goal would be to drive the rx350 until it dies. Any real benefit to the 3rd generation if I can buy low mileage (50k) one owner 08???

Depends on your definition of "real benefit".
A 2RX looks too much like a 1RX IMO, at least more-so than a 3RX looks like a 2RX.
Coupled with the 4gen hitting the streets by the end of this year, you'd basically be buying a vehicle two generations back already. 3RXs will still look "new" for a couple more years till the 4RX's really start filling the roads
3RX has the 6 speed trans vs the 5 speed in the 2nd gen that folks complain about (perhaps minor issues, I can't recall them all off top of my head), one being slow to down shift. Another is better gas mileage. I think the '09 RX is EPA'ed at 17/22 vs.18/24 on '10 model.
3RX has heated and ventilated seats vs heated only in 2RX
Passenger knee airbag in 3RX
18" wheels standard on 3RX
Improved handling
There's lots more, and probably a great thread about it all floating around here somewhere, I just didn't bother to search.
