PLEASE HELP!

I repaced my front struts, tie rods and ball joints.
First, ride quality has diminished a lot. Second nd the real issue here is that it is not being possible to wheel align. What do you think might be wrong.

I saw all those red points before alignment that turned green after the technician did the work. So I think it is not out of specs. However, the car still leans to the left. It goes straight if I hold the steering wheel, but if I let go, the steering wheel turns slightly to the left and the car follows.

Note: Mechs here use hammers for anything. Could they have damaged anything when replacing the mentioned parts?

I would do some research on the upper strut mounts, they may not be installed correctly. That is the only thing I can think of at the moment. The mounts have a front and back direction....

 

Thanks! That might be the thing. I insisted with them mechanic that the direction of the strut mounts are important, he said otherwhise. I'll have them checked.

 

what do you mean not possible to wheel align . Is it out of specs, can they adjust the tie rods for toe settings . the caster and camber cant be adjusted in less you put in a camber kit . really need more info .

It very well could be your tires. Driving with a misalignment causes wear at an angle and can result in what is called "radial pull". New tires are called for. It's also possible for a new tire to be defective and cause the same kind of pull. You can test this by rotating your tires and see if the problem changes.

There's also brake drag that can cause pulling.

 

How, exactly, were the tires rotated?

 

I had already rotated as the manual says 2 weeks before. So this time I just swapped both front tires to check if there was a problem. Then I swapped both rear tires. Nothing. Also note that all was well before replacing those suspension and steeing parts. So I really doubt it's the tires.

 

Did the brake drag inspection and it was not the problem.
Now waiting for the mechanic to check the strut bearings
