I have a 2008 RX350 with 48,000 miles and have been told that my steering rack is leaking and needs replacement to the tune of 1500 plus tax. Trying to find out if there has ever been a recall on this as I can see that I am not the only one with this problem....help would be appreciated.

Lexus should take care of this. For a rack to leak at 48,000 miles is insane. Hell, my 99 RX has the original rack with 163,000 miles and its bone dry.


Call your Lexus dealer (if you already haven't)


If they're no help call another Lexus dealer in your area.
