hey guys, I was wondering if any of you had your steering rack replaced. Mine is being done as per tsb -0016-11 (notchy steering feel at high speed). if so how did it go? any concerns or questions I should ask the service advisor? Thanks.

 

I had mine replaced last year, during a big cold freezing ice storm,something cracked and I had my sensor thing replaced too along with the rack, it was 2500 total at the dealer.

 

2500 that is a hefty bill. Fortunately my cost is being covered under my extended warranty. DId the car handle/feel any different with the new rack?

 

i had mine done a few years ago and my rack went again within 5000 miles

 

If you don't mind me asking, what dealer did your rack?
