I should admit that these keys are aftermarket. The locksmith was able to program it to my Lexus RX350 2007 so I could start my car but he was unable to program the buttons to lock and unlock the car. If its able to start the car, im not sure why the remote cant be programmed. Im thinking I should just go to a Lexus dealer to program the buttons but im afraid of paying only to find out he cant do it either. Basically I would be paying for programming TWICE. My original master key is able to lock and unlock the car remotely btw.

The locksmith said he could try reprogramming the original master key as well but that its possible the original's remote wont work anymore. I preferred not to risk it. Do you think this will help?
