don't tilt down when reversing?

Not a big...but why not?

I don't have the car you have, but this happened to me yesterday. I looked and the mirror selector switch to adjust them was in the middle between L/R and while it was in the middle, my mirrors would not turn down. See if that is the case for you.

personally, I hate that the mirros tilt down

Switch the mirror selector to the left or right. Once the switch is in this position, the mirrors will turn down when car put in reverse. Flick switch back to middle (so not left or right) and they will go back to normal position.

I thought that this is automatic. I was told from my wife that our 08 both mirrors are turned down a little when she puts it in reverse but it doesn't get back when she puts the gear into drive. She said that the mirror selector is always in the middle. I didn't think that this is a big deal so I haven't take time in looking into this.
