Default Mirrors in reverse flaky - switch tipped to right

I wasn't sure how to pose the question. IT seems intermittently the power mirrors dont respond. If I move the position lever they eventually move. But also in reverse, I notice they dont dip down, even when I have the selector switch moved to the side.

Is there any maintenance or something to check for the mirrors?
Just sort of an annoyance.

there was a write up about cleaning the connector pins on the back of the switch. that worked for me.

My switch was acting up the same way. I removed the switch and disassembled. I cleaned the contacts, reassembled it and reinstalled it. It only works marginally better now. I fear the motor on the left mirror has taken a dump. The right side works like a champ. The drivers side mirror only moves left and right. Not up and down...

2KHarrier, mine is the same way. although it did make a difference. it's weird, my switch works everytime i had to adjust something. but the driver's side intermittently tilts down when going in reverse.
