Hi all,
so a few weeks ago I noticed that when in reverse, the reverse camera screen comes up and says the usual check surrounding at the bottom but the screen is black.

Now I also notice that the passenger front door lock is not working. Doesn't matter if you use the remote or the button on the door to unlock or lock all the doors, the front passenger doesn't unlock or lock. Must be done by hand manually.

This might be dumb but could these issues be related at all? Any ideas as to what might be wrong for either of the problems. I searched but can't seem to find anything specific about either problem. Thanks

 

As far as the door lock, actuator is bad. Not sure about the camera unless it went out on you. I wouldnt think it would be related to the door lock, but who know`s in these things.

 

Is the actuator hard to replace? is that an expensive part? thanks for the reply

 

There is an existing DIY for an RX330. Should be the same for the RX350 with the possible exception of a different part number.
