I'm talking about length and specific fittings. I'm looking to invest in new lines, but have been made aware that oftentimes, the manufacturers sell the pieces to be fitted together afterward.

forgive me and i'm not trying to give you a hard time but i can't see at all where you are going with this... if you are talking about the steel lines in the car then you have two options... go to the dealer and buy them they come pre made and preformed and they are direct replacement. if you feel those are too expensive, the materials are generic and off the shelf at most autoparts stores. steel brake lines can be bought in all sae and metric diameters and all sae and metric fittings in lengths as short as 12 " and as long as 8' ... then you bend them and form them and cut and flare them as necessary...
as to whether your car is or 5 or 6 mm tubing or what specific fitting is on them, i don't know. the lines will all be the same but there are 2 or 3 different fittings in play depending on location. since it is mostly the lines that might corrode or rust when people change them , they often just use the original fittings after cleaning them just to be certain but for sure if you took a sample down to your local napa store, they can match it for the generic materials.
i just don't have any idea what you are trying to accomplish...
