If he's talking about the A/C ROOM TEMPERATURE SENSOR, this has nothing to do with your issue.

An intermittent blinking AC light is either a failing AC compressor or AC amplifier.
If it was a wiring problem, you would have the issue all the time.

There are resistance checks on the Magnetic clutch ac compressor solenoid.
But since its intermittent, it'll be hard to catch if its bad.

Try hooking a scan tool and see if there are any DTC's for the AC.
Usually a B1451/51; Compressor Solenoid Circuit wold pop up if there is an issue with the AC compressor/Magnetic clutch.

Just wanted to report back that on my wifes 2007 Lexus RX-350 FWD with about 95k on it. I replaced the Air Conditioning Amplifier part number 88650-0E021 pictured above and it worked like a charm. I did it in Jan 2020 so times up it works. I purchased the one pictured for about $120 on eBay. The one I got looked like a used part but was well kept unlike some others listed. Lexus wanted $900 which is a tad bit higher.

No more flashing or blinking AC Air Conditioner light RX-350 for the search engines . No more hot air and having to turn it off and on. I had the directions above and still thought I would have a professional install it. Found a highly recommended shop and it cost $40 to install.

Alls well that ends well, hope this can help out someone else.
Best of luck
