Default Warning light

Hey Guys/Gals,

Silly question, but coming from a BMW, what does the warning symbol beside the temperature gauge mean? The one with the exclamation mark in it?

Cheers...

90% of the time when the tire pressure warning light comes on the culprit is the spare tire.

Ok, so here is the thing, I upgraded my wheels today from the Premium Package 17" to the Ultra Premium 18" wheels...ever since this, the light has been on, I checked the pressure and it is 31PSI bang on...not sure how to get rid of the light...any thoughts? Do I need to take it in to get reset? Or, can I do it myself...

Thanks,

Make sure all tires are at the correct pressure including the spare. Reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) The instructions are in the manual and also available here, just do a search.

It is the spare for sure! I tried resetting 3 times and it is still blinking...in the manual it states that it needs to be reset as soon as you change size! In addition, I need to check the spare when I get a chance! I just don't feel like going under the truck in this weather so I may wait until the next oil change!...

Thanks for the help guys...

Thanks,
When you changed the tires. Did they move the sensors as well?

All they did was swap the 18s for the 17s...my spare is still 17" so I am not sure if that is an issue...so to answer your question, no they did not swap the sensors...

That could be a problem if they did not program the vehicle for the new sensors.
