Is this a feature on all the 04-06 RX`s? or is it an option?

I was always under the assumption that they were standard (at least on all US models). I am curious as to why you ask. Do you not have them?

No I have them, And I think its a classy touch. Just didnt know if they were an option,or standard.

I want to buy a pair from ebay, or elsewhere to install on my RX300. I think I remember reading that the rear's fit without modification ,but the front door sills need to be cut to fit. I'm only worried about how to wire it, I can easily modify it to fit.

But to answer your question, I'm not sure, but I think it was standard.

Me too. I want to change the color also. The exterior of my vehicle is bamboo, so I wanted to change mine to either green or an ice blue.

thought I saw previous, some time ago, a guide to take apart to get at the bulb. however, while I could find threads where it was discussed I could never find one which actually talked about and showed the process.

From what I have read, this is not an easy task. Doable but cumbersome to find a bulb that fits.

They are standard on the RX's down under.

On the thread I saw they replaced the OEM 3 watt LED with a Bright White 5 watt LED. The difference was definitely noticeable and to my eye, a great improvement. From what I remember it took some work but it was doable. I'd like to see a step by step write up with pics too
