Default Nav update (04 rx 330)

my 04 came with a nav and the 3.1 version disc, it is seriously outdated and i wan to update as it doe sot even find my house. which version ( gen) nav disk would work.

i got the DVD 8.1 (gen 5) but it doe snot work
any help woud lbe much appriciated

you need a gen 4 disk.....

If you look at the Lexus Navigation Chart (Link) posted above you will see that the 2004 RX uses a Generation 3 disc.

No, they were wondering about the difference between the part numbers: 23E vs. 23W

Were guessing what the difference might be. Why you should ask before ordering as you might get one for the wrong region -- if that is what the reason for the difference in part numbers truly is all about.

Sewell would have DVD's on clearance, check them out 1st.

Or else fleabay would have them, too. Just buy the original ones. Beware.

Go to Sewell 1st and look for the closeout.
