I have the NAV option on my car and subsequently have the reversing camera as well. Now sometimes when I put my car into reverse and the camera comes on, my wife pushes a button on the display (i.e. the temperature button for example) and as a result the display doesn't go back to the camera. The only way to get the camera feed again is to move the gear out of reverse and back into it again. Does anyone know the magic button combo that I need to push to re-engage the camera display while the car is still in reverse? I can't recall seeing anything in the manual about it.
It probably never occurred to a bunch of engineers that anyone might want to adjust the temperature while backing up so the program doesn't make allowances for it.
Pressing the button overrides the camera but there might not be a return sequence other than reengaging the camera through the shift mechanism.

Yes, as Carver stated, there is no other button to switch back to camera mode. The previous Acura I had did not let any on screen changes when the reverse camera was engaged. I guess Lexus thought otherwise. I usually end up going to park or neutral and reverse again. Sometimes, even, looking back the good old fashion way!!!!
