One other question then, if I did go to 18's, what tyre size would I need to get? I have checked the calculators and generally the following seems to the best tyre fit to not affect the speedo too much.
Stock 17's run on 225/65. If I went an 18, then the calculations seem to suggest that I go with something like a 225/50 or possibly even a 245/45. Regarding looks as well as tyre life etc. what would you guys recommend for a tyre size if I went to 18's. I am thinking aftermarket wheels here, so I would be going 18 * 8's with an offset of 35 (as I believe these will fit without any dramas).

Interestingly enough having a look at most tyre calculators, it would seem that the 245/55 would be better given that the speed difference between a 225/65 and 245/55 is about 0.3% whereas the difference between a 225/65 and 235/55 is greater, about 1%. If I get better looks, slightly better handling, and there's no clearance issues then heck I will go with the 245/55's.

Short answer, maybe the dealer. Try Fleabay.
