Question

I am thinking about to change my rims, but I have no idea what kind of wheels are available for my RX. At Rod Millen, there is a set of MHT 18" wheels, but that set is for regular cars, not SUV. TIre Rack also have some wheels for RX, but those are also regular car rims. So I am just wondering how do I know if a set of wheels is fine for RX , or SUV? Can I just buy the regular wheel? And also, what is the best combination for wheels? Like, 18x7, 255x55x18? And any recommandations for wheels (but no chromes)? Thanks

Well, I don't really know too much about lowering springs. I have been looking at wheels for an RX too. I saw the ones at RodMillenStore.com and the MHT's look like they fit well, but the others looked like they stuck out too far (even thought they are both 18x8. I think that a 7.5 inch wheel would fit the RX best - without spacers. I am not exactly sure about the difference in a wheel for a car or an SUV, but I don't think it matters as long as the wheel fits the specifications for the RX (i.e. backspacing and offset). I continue to educate myself on wheels, spacing, brands, etc before I get too far into buying. Good Luck.
