Default need some rim advice?

My wife is looking for some rims and she likes the TSW Vortexs in chrome and they come in either 20x8.5 with 20 offset or 20x8.5 with a 40 offset, which one should she be getting? What tire size do you guys run for a 20"? Thanks for the help

Looks like you'll need 245/40R20's to go on a set of 20x8.5 wheels.

The offset though should be +35.

Here's a few examples:
* Lowenhart LT-5 20" x 8.5" Hankook H105 245/40R20 http://www.yatoh.co.jp/blog/souchaku-toyota-wagon.html
* Work SC1 20x8.5 +35 Yokohama Advan St 245/40r20 http://www.yatoh.co.jp/blog/souchaku-toyota-wagon.html
* Lexani cs2 20x8.5 +35 Yokohama dna db 245/40r20 http://www.yatoh.co.jp/blog/souchaku-toyota-wagon.html

The +40 should fit. The RX calipers are small enough.

The 40 should fit fine. Vossen wheels would fit as well As Howie stated the 245/40/20 tire would fit fine.

those look pretty big for a 20" for some reason. I talked to the TSW rep and they suggested the 20 offset if i wanted a more flush look so thats whats on its way. I'll take pics of the actual rims once i get them on, wish me luck boys.

just got them delivered to me so now its off to the tire shop. Think im going to get some 245/45/20, the 245/40/20 look good but we got some crazy pot holes in calgary. Is there a dedicated rim thread or section for the rx's? like to see some more pics of tire sizes.

Congrats on the wheels! But while the +20 will be more flushed, be careful on turns into driveways as you may bottom out on your front fenders. Especially with the 245 tire size. All that aside, post pics!
