Amazing! Just took my 2008 Lexus RX350 in for its 65,000 mile servicing. Forgot to mention that the driver door had begun to make a single beep when opened. Too far to take it back to get this checked, so checked this forum. Amazing to find out what a simple fix it was! That somehow I'd made my moon roof open just a touch and this was now causing this single beep! Why is there nothing listed anywhere else about this and why didn't the dealership service department even notice it to fix it???? Guess I'm just smarter than they are.

 

I wish there was actually a way to have the moonroof and windows closed by actually using the remote, rather than having to put the key in the door and hold it there. You have the function to open but not to close. Sigh...........

 

I think it also lets you know if the fuel door is open when you drive away.
