Difference? ML gs AMP vs RX AMP.
I was wondering what the difference is between a 2004 RX330 ML Amp and a 2004 GS ML Amp....
Question being because the GS Amp drives a sub along with all the speakers...and the Rx does not have an Sub
would they be exchangeable and be able to run the same speakers as in Stock RX + a sub?

I'm about to replace some (not all) of the speakers as a first attempt to address terrible rattling sounds - I haven't opened up everything yet but I'm anticipating rot on the 20 year old speakers.
My investigation so far says speakers are all 2-ohm
(2) Front Dash 2-way Mid-High || (replacing with Kenwood Excelon KFC-X2C 2-3/4" mids at 4-ohms) $80
(2) Front Door 6x9 Bass only (not sure what the cut-off is for these but everything I've found suggest 2-way speakers might not do much good here) replacing with PowerBass 6x9 OE Replacement (2-way) OE692-T $85
Anyway it's not complete replacement and I'm considering replacing the A-pillar tweeters too perhaps with the most basic $30 tweeters I can find.
My biggest concern is the 4-ohm mids replacement(an possible tweeters) as factory amp expects 2-ohms --- am I going to completely wipe out these from being audible due to increased impedence --- maybe I will be able to adjust enough with just EQ modifications. I don't need super loud. We'll see.
