Error code p0138
Hi- I just had my CEL code scanned- and it came back with P0138. I understand this is the rear o2 sensor. Any idea how much the part is? or if I can install it myself? Any harm in not fixing it immediately?
Any and all input welcome!
thanks

Go check the Sewell website, it has a drop down parts list.

can be done yourself, depends on how inclined you are to do it. if not a shop should only charge .5 and hour to replace (max 1.0) especially if you dont get them to clear the code.
if you do it yourself, pick up the special tool for it, most auto parts stores should sell one. if you use a regular wrench you could strip it.
there is no harm in waiting to fix it, only thing you may notice is the vehicle will be a little harder on fuel.
also try "auto parts way .com" with out spaces
