Does anyone know what % the factory tint is on the back windows of a 2009 rx350?

I'm guessing 20-30% just by eyeballing it..... but anyone know for sure?

I'd say around there, maybe even up to 35% depending on which brand you use but for sure nothing darker than 20%.

 

I did my fronts at 35, it is a shade lighter than the rears, but looks good and legal here in ATL.

 

colorado legal limit is something dumb like 32 or 35. i don't care about if the tint is legal or not. just want a perfect or near perfect match with the rear

 

Got the fronts to match the back, 20%. Paid $40 with a lifetime warranty.

i need to get my front 2 tinted and will ask the shop. i was thinking 20% to match but it looks like i may be doing 15% or even 10%.

colorado is 27% on all windows, except front of course

 

I have my windows tinted pretty dark, I don't remember how dark though. When I see a cop I just roll my windows down. I've had them for over 1 year now and no problems so far.

They are darker in the front to match the rear windows, because my rear windows have additional film on them to make them darker too.

At night I just have to pretty careful because it is pretty dark , fortunately I always am.

Here in the ATL 35% in front. 20 all else. Cops love issuing tix for dark tints.

 

The place I went, they do not even put other than 35% in the front windows.

there are a ton of places that put tint on much less than the law states... they don't advertise it and you usually pay only in cash
