I am in north Florida. It is really scotching hot for driver even sometimes in winter. So I just get the front two windows tinted last week. Check some local tint shop, choose the film with lifetime warranty, the price is around 50 bucks.

 

$50 for both windows? Not bad.

 

Now that I am in Florida I had the 2 fronts tinted with the best 3M for $100 total. That was about the best price I could find for the 3M product. Florida allows down to 28% where as Wisconsin is only 50%. It looks great & is almost the same as the rears, just a tad lighter.

 

50 is a great deal. I have a bamboo pearl and their tinted to I think 35 the legal limit. If you want pm you email and ill send you a pic

 

I live in So. California so I went to a local tint shop where I noticed there were a lot of nice cars getting worked on (usually a good sign that they do quality work). I chose a medium tint which is a little lighter than the factory rear window tint so I don't get pulled over by the police. Tinting the front windows gives the RX a longer, sleaker appearance. I think the cost was around $100.

Can find that price will vary along with quility. The best 3 M cost me just around $100 but they did have a $50 tint but come on its a Lexus so u get the best, right? 3 M has a Lifetime warranty they said.

 

Full tint costs $300 using 3M...$100 for just 2 fronts seem high, but could be worth it, specially if it matches the rest....

 

I thought it was kind of high too but I did check a few places for price & this place was not the highest but had a good rep. & sometimes that is worth a little more in cost.

 

Before I would get my front windows tinted you better check your state law on what is permitted for light transmission. Arkansas State Police are now giving tickets to owners whose car's do not meet state law on light transmittance. This is done for safety for a police officer and also for other drivers and pedestrians who need to see the driver's face. I see that you live in Wisconsin so I would check it out.

Haha ... I just got the tint done like 3 hours ago at 20% (the car is being baked under the sun now) .. costed $100 ... I agree it's one of the best money we spent for the car.

 

The tint is worth every penny it cost. Here in GA the sun cooks the interior and you along with it. Cost me $100 3 years ago to have it done on my RX350 but it's the best $100 that I have spent. May have been a little high
but the quality is super. Congrats you will love it.
