Default Hood Strut

My hood strut failed to hold in the open position, so I have ordered from the Lift Support (paid $53.91). Amazing quality, 10 min installation, lower bracket had perfect fit.
I will recommend this company.

Yes, a couple of years ago I had ordered struts for the back hatch, for a RX300 from the same place. They were fine.

Thanks for the reminder. Mine have been busted a few years now and I just been too forgetful to get this done. Put in an order now.

Had to have my replaced under warranty with about 40K miles on the vehicle. Seemed a bit early for me, however, I did not argue with the service advisor who said they were bad.

I have replaced a pair on my old 95 Camry, years ago. Not before I got hit in the head one time while checking something a strong wind blew by. Ouch! Ordered my replacement via ebay. $27ish, made by the OEM makers for struts.

This is the 1st post of the strut in the front hood failing, that I have read. I have seen posts on the rear hatch struts failing.
