Default 2004 RX330 front Door Speaker size?

Does anyone know what size the speakers are in the front door of the 2004 rx330? Mine are blown, and i don't want to rip the door open to check what size they are.

Crutchfield says it is not a standard 6x9 speaker fit:

It looks like the speaker size is 6x9 but to get it mounted to the door you'll need a spacer ring the shape of the mounting holes.

Thanks for your help. Has anyone tried replacing them with anything other than factory speakers?

Yes I've replaced both font and rear door speakers with Focal 690CVX in front resp 165CVX for rear in my 400h.
I made my own spacers at that time but have ordered better (i hope) ones from http://car-speaker-adapters.com
I'll try to post some pics when they arrive.

They do not carry the spacer for the door speakers on a 2004 RX330 belonging to the OP.

My installer made kick panels to fit the foot rest area of my 330 and put in Diamond Hex speakers. He said the angle would make listening to music a bit more enjoyable and it did. JL Audio speakers fit perfectly in the back doors.

Got pictures of the kicks? What size speakers did it hold? The kicks do have space to hold speakers but I've been toying with the idea of using HLCD instead. We'll see.

For what I can see its the same speaker design on the 2004 RX330 as on my 2006 RX440h as well as for the 2008 RX.

Could be. I just went to the link you provided and tried to see what came up when you put in a 2004 RX330. They only showed a tweeter kit. FWIW.

I recently threw away the box for the front speakers. It had round speaker covers in there, maybe 5". The speakers are somewhat visible in the pictures. Now the carpeted mats didn't fit after the kick panels were installed so I had them cut and edged.

Yes, the lists do not seems to be complete.
I should have linked in these.

2007, Lexus and RX: http://car-speaker-adapters.com/items.php?id=SAK010
2007, Toyota and RAV4: http://car-speaker-adapters.com/items.php?id=SAK036

Those do look the same and is what I've ordered to test with.
