Default Maint. Req'd

Has anyone ever had the Maint. Req'd light come on, if so what maintence are they talking about ?

The manual is your best friend. It should tell you how to re-set the maintenance required light.

Also, search can do wonders here, too.

Make sure the odometer is set to total miles not trip. With the key in the off position, push in and hold the odometer button (ODO). Turn the key to the on position without starting the car. Continue to hold in the odometer reset button until the maintenance required light goes off (about 20 seconds).

2008 RX350.
Probably just an oil change and tire rotation depending on mileage. Comes on every 5K miles. Dealer is supposed to reset when an oil change is done.
