My maintenance required light has just come on and I noticed it happened just after I hit 89k miles. Is this my 1,000 mile reminder to get my 90k maintenance done?

 

Thats a 5,000 mile oil change reminder light. It must have gotten thrown off between oil changes some how. I.E the oil was changed before being due, so the light was never reset.

 

I know the oil was just changed, how do I reset it?

 

make sure your odometer is set to the vehicle millage (not trip a,or b) turn off key. put your finger on the odometer button and hold,while at the same time turning on your key. you will see a count down (of bars) going on. hold till it finishes, your done/reset.
