Default Is this a good price?

Background:
Lexus RX 350 got totaled 2 weeks back.
It was a 2008 model with 22K miles and had Nav package.

The insurance is offering us 37 K.

Is that a good price? They have not mentioned anything about Title and Taxes in the claim.

They first offered us 36,500 and we asked them to reappraise based on car searches in our area. Then they came up with the 37K

Should I ask for more? and also explicitly include Title and Taxes?

thanks

i think that is damn good... you can easily find one under 35k nowdays....so i think that is reasonable/good offer.

In my area you can easily buy CPO '09's with NAV from Lexus dealers for less than $37K.

I'd say take it, I've found similar 350s (similar miles, year, package) for welllll less than 37k, there's a few I've seen for close to 30k. I'd say even with title and taxes you're still looking at a pretty good deal.

Yes. Take it & give props to your insurance company for taking care of you.

Was it your fault?

If not, then gotta squeeze some more.

Or else, follow the advise....TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN!

Thank you all.

The fault was not ours.

But they looked at all inventory in the local region and did the math based on that. So we could not argue more on that. We took the offer.
