Default Lexus Parts Online Website

Has anyone ordered parts from lexuspartsonline.com. I ordered parts last week and have been waiting for an email on the order's status. I sent an email and haven't received a response. There is no number to call. Has anyone else had any experience with them? I hope I didn't get dooped?

Call your credit card company before it is too late.

Default Sewell

I have to say. I would not use Sewell for any transaction. Ive ordered from them 3 times. And have had a problem on each order.

The first time they sent the wrong color of mats. No problem. Then it took two months to get the right ones.

The second time They never shipped the items. I called and emailed Darrel. No replies. Finally after about 6 weeks. I got the stuff.

The last time. I bought something from eBay. And didn't pay close enough attention. And found out it was them. They sell the custom color steps for the RX. It has to be painted. So, no problem on the wait. After a month. Nothing. Did the email and phone calls again. No answer. Called the Manager. No reply. Wrote the Manger a letter. Still no reply. After 2 months. I called the area Lexus rep. Got my steps straight from the company that makes them in a a week. Never got one reply from anyone.

But my credit card was charged within hours of all of my orders.

I will admit, I buy most of my parts locally since many of the Lexus parts are available at Toyota. With that said, the few parts I have purchased have been from Sewell or IronToad, neither of which have I had any problems with. As far as communications go, Sewell seems to communicate better than IronToad, both I have had no problems with and would purchase again from either. IronToad's web site has been down (on the Lexus side) recently, so I was a bit concerned over that.

I stock up when I get coupons in the mail. I get oil filters for $2.99, air filters for $12.99, etc. Save those coupons and take them to your nearest Toyota dealer and many times they will match them. I always tell them it's for a Highlander as some Toyota dealerships have "deals" with the Lexus (next door) not to sell Lexus parts.

Same comment for both Sewell and Irontoad (you will not hear from Irontoad, then one day your shipment's in your door).

Local is best option. Where the heck do you get coupons?

I've used them before. Communication was bad but I did receive what I ordered.

I haven't ordered a lot of stuff online for my car but never had an issue with Sewell. But if I'd had the experience some described, I would not be happy either. So, good luck.

Your credit card protects you from anyways if you did get dooped. You'd have at least 2 months to file to dispute the transaction. This company has been around for a while so don't worry.
