Default Swell Lexus online has earned my respect

Last night I ordered some parts from Sewell Lexus' online parts ordering site. Right after I submitted my order, I realized that I forget some parts. So, I created another order that was $20 in parts and it had $10 as the shipping. I went ahead and submitted the order because I needed the parts.


Today I received an email from PayPal that stated that Sewell refunded the shipping from my second order and stated that they would combine the two orders. They have earned my respect.


I have ordered from a similar online dealership for our Acura and did a similar thing but did not place the second order. Instead, I called and asked if they could combine some additional parts with my first order. They said "no" and told me that I would have to place the second order and pay for that shipping too.


I know that I am the one that screwed up the order with Sewell by forgetting some parts, but they refunded the 2nd shipping charges on their own. THANK YOU for being reasonable!

I emailed them about a part that states on their site is cheaper at the dealership. Never emailed me back so I'll be going to the dealership.

I see that I spelled 'Sewell' incorrectly in my thread title ...... DOH!


They also give additional discounts to ClubLexus members.

I'm driving my second Lexus a 2013 ES 350 purchased at Sewell. My first was a 2005 ES330. I found both on line and worked out most of the details before seeing the cars. I live 250 miles from Sewell. The one I'm driving had 4,200 miles on it and it is one very nice car. They are very fair in their dealing and you can depend on what they tell you. I'll go back again when I need another car.
