Door Sill Light Out
How do I replace the Door Sill Light under the stainless steel Lexus plate

That bulb is under the door sill is sealed right in. I've heard someone on the forum had changed it out to white led before but no one has clear instructions on how to remove the bulb from the door seal.

I removed the lighted door sills while installing XM in '07 RX350 - very simple process. See pages 6-7
here
I don't recall specifically but I think the bulbs were just run of the mill low wattage bulbs you should be able to find in any auto parts store.

Yea the bulb itself is run of the mill type but it's sealed in with the entire assembly which makes it hard to remove

Or, you can use my instructions for removing the sill plate:
Step 1: Lift up
Step 2: See step 1
That's all there is to it. The sill is held in place by a few pop-in clips. Just pop up the sill and unplug it.
