Default Air Intake

Ok, so did a search found nothing. Who has installed or has thought about doing a CAI install on thier RX?

Did a google search nothing really came up for a CAI for the RX, does anyone know who makes one and how much?

Would it be worth doing in the RX?

Any input would be appreciated.

Have not heard around here for a CAI for our RX's. It is tight in there, maybe the reason nobody's done it.

Tried google?

I couldn't find a CAI for the RX, but I found that the K&N drop in is on sale at Amazon, it was only 28 bucks!

In regards to CAI I have one on my 2005 RX330 its made my Weapon-R. They are based in California. I had it installed at the dealership. It does make quite a bit of difference. If you decide on this product do not email them call them directly. They are horrible for returning email. Their webpage is www.weapon-r.com

Good luck
Chris

That a hard question to answer. The reason for this is when I first got it the addictive sound caused me to drive faster. Very quickly there after I put on the dual exhaust system.

Right now combined city and highway driving I'm averaging 580 kms per tank. Highway driving, 130km/h range I can get 635 km per tank.

But I did two long trips this summer. I drove to North Carolina which is 1700 km one way and I spend $435 on gas for the entire trip. This was with the cold-air kit only.

I then went to Florida with the CAI and exhaust system. We put 7000 km on the vehicle and spend $570 on gas.

Remember that gas is about $1.00 a litre in Canada and about $.70 cents a litre in US
I hope this helps,
Chris
