ATF drain?

ATF drain?

Looking to drain/fill new ATF. I only found a DIY for the RX300 https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-...er-change.html. Is it the same for a 04 RX330 FWD?

Yep,but we have that stupid plastic under their to remove,that the rx300 doesnt have. Just makes the job a little longer. I forgot to mention,since yours is FWD,it will probably only take 3.5 quarts.

Yes, same as mentioned above. 3.5 sounds about right. The Owner's manual specifies the right amount.

Ok thanks for the replys. Also, to fill, is it through the tranny dip stick?

What fluid do you guys recommend Toyota Type T-IV?

don't just drain and refill, FLUSH it with 12 QTS of ATF T-IV (TOYOTA PART # TO00279-000T4-01)

Yes, refill through the dipstick. Mine is AWD and it took 4 qts.

No flushing recommended. Drain and fill with T-IV. You can do it as much as you want. I do it every other oil change and my dipstick shows PINK fluid. Means GOOD and FRESH ATF.
