Just went to the dealer and found out the block heater cost $45 and the install cost $150

Does anyone know how to install the block heater? Is it hard?

150 to install does seem a little steep, all you will have to do is either unscrew a bolt and thread in the block heater, or you may have to pop out a frost plug,

the bad part is, once you do that coolant will flow like no tomorrow making a huge mess, you wont catch all of it.

 

Do you know where I can get a step by step install guide?

 

when i worked at acura, they had a computer system for all of the accessories,, all you had to do was print off the directions for whichever accessory you were installing, this was very helpful due to the fact that the accessories never came with the instructions in the box.

i would call the parts manager and ask him if he will supply the instructions upon purchase of there block heater
