Default Seat Squeak

I have a 09 RX. It is very nice in every way. Except one. The rear seat squeaks. Every bump, it squeaks. It has had normal wear and tear. A car seat was on it a short time. But it has only 7000 miles on it. The seats squeaks. Any suggestions?

Mine squeaked really bad until the dealer told me to put leather conditioner on the leather between the seats. Completely solved the issue. You'll have to do this about once a year to keep them from squeaking against each other.

The squeak is likely caused by leather rubbing against leather. I'd suggest using Leather Masters Protection Cream on your leather to resolve this issue. LM leaves the leather dry and silky so that any contact will not squeak. At the same time it will protect your leather from spills and or dirt and grime. Apply a couple times a year and your car won't squeak.

I use Maguier's One Step Leather care available at most auto parts stores and maybe even Target.

I completely agree with everyone. I keep using the Leather Master products and my leather still looks brand new.

Here's a link to the products that Jim (jfelbab) mentioned. I use these religiously.

Leather Master Strong Cleaner

Leather Master Vital Conditioner

Leather Master Protection Cream

My 04 did this really bad.. I was going insane well mostly my wife as she drives it.. I fixed it 100% no more squeaks.. The leather conditioner did not solve my problem, and I lubed up all seats.. Finally I got under there unbolted the rear seats from frame, greased them and bolted back up. Guess what.. squeak still.. at this point I am so angry I beat the living crap out of the rear seats.. no more squeak. true story.

You like, how did you beat it exactly, with a baseball bat? Or pure barebone knuckle all out brawl?

I tried the leather conditioner. It still squeeks. Damn I only have 7000 on the car. Hope the dealer can handle this one.
