Default Block Heater

Wow it's -30 here and I am looking for the block heater cord on my 05 RX any body know where to start?

If you're facing your RX from the front, it's tucked up in the lower part of the grill on the left side.

I had to search for it at first too.

Default Option?

I'm guessing the block heater is a dealer-installed option? It seems there is a limited area that would warrant that option. Of course, this week that region is quite a bit bigger than usual.

Definitely a dealer option, but in Alberta,Canada, most dealer just install it and add the item in the invoice.

No block heater to be found, mine came from Toronto but it did start in -30 weather. One think I found in both my RX and LS the starter cranks for 3 to 4 seconds before it fires. Not like american cars that fire at the touch of the key.
