One touch feature on moonroof not working
Today I replaced the battery in my 2005 RX 330. I have successfully reset all settings with the exception of the moonroof. Before replacing the battery, it would open and close with just one touch in the direction I wanted it to go. Now, even though I have followed the instructions in my owners manual to the letter, I cannot get it to function correctly.
Any ideas on what could be going on? Any help would be appreciated.

That also needs to be reset.
With the ignition in the on position, push and hold the sunroof tilt button. The sunroof will tilt open, tilt closed, slide open and slide closed. Then you may release the tilt button and the sunroof will be reset.

You might find the same problem when trying to roll the windows up and down from the driver's door. The windows on the other 3 doors may not work until they are reset at each individual door.

Problem solved. Last night after work, I did exactly what I had did before and the moonroof began working as it should. Obviously I did something differently from the day before, but I can't say specifically what it was. Like I said in my initial post, this was the only thing I had left to set. Thanks for all of the replies. I can rest peacefully now

My question to you is... where do you find things like this? I now know of two 'secret' menus and now this moonroof reset. I'm sure there are others out there, but where do I find them?
Thanks.

The manual has most of them...read it twice and you will find a wealth of info!

I plan on using this trick later today to help a co-worker fix her moonroof. She's been impressed w/ the other tricks I've learned here, too.

I would like to see these initialization items posted here as a sticky but so far no one has taken up that task.

Just changed my post. I just tried the "tilt" button and had to try a few times, but it finally worked and now my one touch feature is working again.
Thanks for the help. These forums are a lifesaver to me.

Same Problem here too, page 131 of the owneres manual. Worked perfect. Remember to let to full open the close before you let it go, i need to lean the full open and close.

Thank you
Really appreciate yall posting. Closing the sunroof was driving me nuts after having to disconnect the battery for other maintenance. In perfect working order again after a full cycle through tilt and slide.
