So after changing my battery a couple months ago i tried every single possible combination of resetting the one touch feature. No combination or amount of cycles ever got it to reprogram so i just dealt with it as it was not a big deal. Now all of a sudden i realize that when i have the sunroof open i can not close it using the close button. I have to hold the up button for it to close. Anyone have a similar problem?

 

what i suggest is to disconnect the battery and give it a good reset and then check if it will work. im resetting it by holding in OPEN for almost 15sec till it cycle.. so easy if every thing is alright unless you have burned something

 

yea i know how to program it (as its discussed almost regularly on here) but nothing seemed to work so i didnt really care too much. I'll try resetting it. it just started to happen a couple days ago.

 

I think what was suggested before in disconnecting the battery, waiting a good half hour ro so, and then connecting and trying again is probably your best bet for getting whatever gremlins are at work preventing you from reinitializing it properly.

 

well saturday afternoon while sitting in the bar parking lot waiting for my friend to show up, i messed around with it. now all of a sudden it seems like it wants to work. the one touch programmed no problem and the close button works.

 

This is what passed through my mind when I read that you randomly got it working...
