Default 255's on RX400H?

Can anyone tell me if 255's can be run on the RX400H? Will the rub when turned all the way in one direction? What about affect on the warranty? Thanks for any help.

just out of curiousity why do you want to change from the stock width (and aspect ratio)?

I think a taller tire would look better and the width would handler better.

taller tire wouldn't look better imo. 255s would rub the rear strut with stock wheels, it will not rub in the front. for the rear you need to purchase a 25mm spacer that bolts onto the hub, then you can run 255 tires without rubbing.

There are a few threads regarding this and it has been reported that 255/55/18 will work fine with no issues (rubbing or safety etc). You have way more tire choices in that size. Your speedometer will be slightly off though, although not by much.
