I have a couple of "left-over" cargo nets from LS430 models: one flat on the floor, one vertical at the trunk entrance. Rather than just buy a net for my new '09 PB RX350, I tried to attach the vertical LS430 net to the rear of the RX350.

The bottom hooks clip right on the flip-down rings but there doesn't seem to be any place to fasten the top hooks. It LOOKS like the same arrangement in the pictures of the RX net as the LS net. The manual is zero help.

Anybody know what the deal is?

I had to get the top hooks screwed in to the side of the trunk.

 

When I had mine put in they put hooks at the top.
